Autumn in Palermo
This is a wonderful time to visit Palermo: the mild temperatures of the autumn months are for many people the ideal climate to explore the city’s neighborhoods, even entirely on foot.
The visit cannot be called complete without having seen the sites of Arab-Norman Palermo, such as the Cathedral, the Palazzo dei Normanni, and Piazza Pretoria, but it will be hard for you to resist a tour of typical products and ancient markets, to try some of the most beloved Sicilian specialties worldwide. Near the Grand Hotel Wagner, close to the Teatro Massimo, you can find, for example, the Mercato del Capo: here you can easily find a typical delicacy to take home as a souvenir of your trip.
