Every day has been build to discover by foot the soul of Palermo, completely by yourself. In the hotel we will provide you all necessary informations.
Start your day with a visit at the Teatro Massimo, just a few steps from the hotel. The next stop has to be Casa Stagnitta, taste their coffee and visit the historic coffee roasting place.
Our tour continues inside the beating heart of the Palermo’s history, the Ballarò market. Don’t miss the restaurant Moltivolti for a local lunch in the area and perfect expression of tastes and cultures.
In the afternoon we suggest you the visit the Palermo Cathedral and the Norman Castle. Finish your day with a dinner at the Gianni Restaurant, specialists in sea fruit and fish.
Enjoy our rich breakfast and start your day visiting two of the most precious buildings of the city: Palazzo Abatellis (where you will see a unique painting that we will not reveal immediately) and Palazzo Chiaramonte Steri (headquarter of the Spanish Inquisition).
After these visits you have to taste our most famous street food: Pane e Panelle (Bread with fried chickpea flour) at the Focacceria San Francesco. In the afternoon a walk along the Cala (antique port of Palermo) and an aperif in an exclusive setting is definitely a must: Nautoscopio (a beach in the city centre).
For your last day our suggestions are: Capo Market, Zisa Castle, the cemetary of the Cappuccini better know as the Catacombs of the Cappuccini. After these places, visit the Villino Florio (the major expression of the Liberty style in Palermo) and the Villa Malfitano. To end the day, schedule an aperitif or dinner at the Duca di Serradifalco garden.
